Education is one of our main pillars of work within the Association, we believe that part of the development at a social, intellectual and cultural level of our new generation is formed and reinforced through a comprehensive education. For this we have developed educational programs for both boys, girls, young people and adults who seek to meet these basic needs as well as train them so that their development will give them the strategies that make them agents of positive change within their community.
The education program has been established by the above as one of the main pillars of work for the Association. From this fact, a curricular base has been created that includes content concentrated in the National Base Curriculum (CNB) of Guatemala and elements of the STEAM curriculum, the latter being a learning system using science, technology, engineering, art and math. Regarding the foregoing, an educational model is conceived that meets the requirements of providing a comprehensive educational service.
When speaking of integral education it is important to emphasize the firm belief that, in support of this model, various areas of development can be impacted on students; These being: the social, intellectual and cultural area. Thus, in CANIGUATEMALA, a model has been consolidated that responds to the development of comprehensive education projects that promote the education and training of children and adolescents in the town to become agents of change for society.
