As General Director of the Casa Del Niño Association of Antigua Guatemala, I give you the most pleasant welcome. My name is Jorge David Mijangos Montufar, I have the fortune of presiding over the CANIGUATEMALA movement for more than 19 years. During this journey, I have had the opportunity to lead and execute important social projects with success. Likewise, I have held different positions in sectors of civil society, where I have been able to continue developing the vision of leadership that our organization maintains and professes to this day.

With a long road traveled and many new trails to discover, I can say that I am satisfied with all the projects achieved. However, I have great expectations about the new challenges and great opportunities that the future will bring, to continue building solid bases for development both at the community and national levels.

It is important to add that the development that CANIGUATEMALA brings to the community would not have been possible without the support of wonderful people, who, with gratitude, love and solidarity, have laid the foundations for change in our country. For this I thank God and all the friends, workers, volunteers and organizations that have been part of this project.

The vision for the Casa Del Niño Association of Antigua Guatemala continues to increase, we have seen fit to create and strengthen community aid programs under the axes of education, sports, health and food, with the aim of bringing the community closer to processes of training in different areas of knowledge, in accordance with the principles of social responsibility, solidarity, improvement of the quality of life and the well-being of the communities that require it, promoting an educational model thus preventing social problems, such as alleys, drug addiction and alcoholism in youth and adults.

We know that we are all the change, so I appreciate your interest and support for this wonderful project of which everyone is welcome to be a part.
