The Day of All Saints is a Catholic tradition established in honor of All Saints, held the first of November.
The tradition is to make visits to cemeteries usually leaving flowers and sometimes food for the dead, they fly Giants kites in Sumpango and Santiago Sacatepequez, and tasted the dish called "Fiambre" (Combination of meats and vegetables).
Asociación Casa el niño made a workshop on how to make kites, wheat stalks covered with Chinese paper secured with thread and glue, with a tail as a counterweight, for FREE, then makes a competition which rewards the best barrel produced.
